How Young is Too Young ?

People of all ages feel attractions for a variety of reasons.  However, as you get older, don't be surprised to find out that what you thought was love turned out to be something else.

Starting a relationship depends on the individual’s level of maturity, goals, and beliefs. Often, the younger we are, the less mature we are due to a lack of life experience.

When we are just beginning to figure out who we are, we may not be firmly grounded to form solid romantic attachments and may be more prone to making unwise decisions that can leave us with emotional, physical, psychological, and spiritual damage.

However, it has not been proven yet, if lasting relationships are dependant on age  and maturity, but it is still a nagging question and definitely a topic worth discussing. Really, How young is too young for a deep relationship?

  1. age doesn't necessarily have anything to do with maturity. Some people are ready to have a grown-up relationship at 25. It happens.

  3. If you feel too young, you're too young. Some people are ready at 20, some still aren't ready at 30. If you don't REALLY feel ready and sure, just wait.

  7. you are never to young to experience with love. there are many happy couples out there who met in high school and are still happy today. you can never be to sure what can happen. if you and your partner are both commited to your relationship, it is possible. but there are many sacrifices to make. you will really need to understand each other and try your best to make the relationship work, even if it means sacrifice. things will not always go your way in a relationship, so its up to you to work things out and never hold a grudge. even if things don't romantically work out, stay friends. because you never know what could happen down the road. always forgive each other, because forgivness is key. and while love is not guranteed, there is always hope. believe you can make it last, and who knows, maybe it will

  8. Age is just a number. Your maturity level is what matters. Determine yourself if you consider yourself ready to be in love, then follow ur heart

  9. Depends, you can start to have a relationship and it turn out to be serious later on. My friend started her relationship when she was 15 I believe maybe even 14 and now her and her bf have been together for 3 1/2 years and they plan on keeping it that way she is 17 now and her bf is 21 I believe he might be 20 but anyways they are in a serious relationship

  11. You are NOT too young to be in love. You are too young to let love rule your life. Keep yourself and your life in balance - with family, school, friends and time for your bf. Do not let your bf be your all - life is more than one love - it is many loves (as in the love for your family, love for your friends, etc.) Keep love simple and when it becomes overly complicated, it is time to move on. Stay focused on your happiness and enjoy being in love - it is a good thing, when kept in balance.

  12. You don't want a "serious" relationship.
    you want to have FUN.

"Serious" relationships are for serious LOSERS.

    Especially before you are 25.
Do NOT get into a serious relationship until you have SERIOUSLY had alot of fun first.

    2. I totally disagree with you, with all due respect. There's really no point wasting your time going into a relationship if you know it wouldn't be "serious". Why have "fun" and waste your time, time you could have spent doing valuable things with your life e.g building your career, focusing on school, developing yourself spiritually, etc. Time is of essence in life so it is important that you don't waste it. Cuz you we don't know how long we'll be here for. In summary, my point is that you shouldn't go into a relationship if you're not fully developed ( spirituality, emotionally, psychologically , physically) and don't waste your time and other people's time having "fun".

  13. i don't think your ever to young to fall in love, but i do think that you should just keep on loving him, and be REALLY careful that you don't take it a step to far. If you two REALLY love each other, then you will feel the same way in a few years and then with your parent's permission, you can get married! I hope it all works our!

if you both love each other alot,
and are comfortable around each other,
    anything is possible.

"too young" is any age where the people involved are not thinking about marriage. the body and mind are not toys :)
